The Verve legend Richard Ashcroft has been confirmed as a special guest for all of Oasis’ highly anticipated UK and Ireland shows in 2025. Ashcroft will join Liam and Noel Gallagher on stage, supporting them across every date of their reunion tour.
The announcement came with a teaser highlighting Ashcroft’s long-standing relationship with the Manchester band. Ashcroft is set to perform a setlist featuring Verve classics like Bitter Sweet Symphony, The Drugs Don’t Work, Lucky Man, and Sonnet, alongside solo hits such as A Song for the Lovers, Break the Night with Colour, C’Mon People (We’re Making It Now), and Music Is Power. Fans can expect a performance that complements the grandeur of Oasis’ return.
This news follows a strong hint from Liam Gallagher, who previously teased Ashcroft’s involvement for the UK and Ireland dates. Earlier this month, Liam took to Twitter, asking fans whether Ashcroft or Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers should join Oasis on the tour. In true Gallagher fashion, he later confirmed that Ashcroft was locked in for the tour alongside fellow Britpop act Cast, sealing the deal with his signature irreverent humor.
