Oasis have claimed the top spot on the Official Vinyl Singles Chart for the week of February 28 to March 6, 2025, with their iconic single “Whatever”, released on February 21, 2025, in a limited-edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the track. This special numbered 7-inch release, featuring an exclusive Pink and Blue splatter design and remastered audio, includes the B-side “(It’s Good) To Be Free”.
This marks the second week on the chart for the single, which made a remarkable leap from 14th place the previous week to number one.
The Official Vinyl Singles Chart is the UK’s official ranking of the best-selling vinyl singles of the week, compiled by the Official Charts Company based on sales of 7 and 12-inch formats over a seven-day period.
