As part of the celebration of Gibson Guitar’s 130-year legacy, the iconic brand has unveiled an exclusive photography exhibition at their Gibson Gallery in The Gibson Garage London. Curated by RedHouse Originals Gallery, the exhibition, titled A New World Blazing, showcases never-before-seen images of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds captured by acclaimed photographer Sharon Latham.
Sharon Latham, who began her career as the first female official Premier League club photographer with Manchester City FC, is now renowned for her close collaboration with Noel Gallagher. Latham’s career with Noel began in 2016 when she joined him on tour, originally planning to stay for two weeks, which extended into a five-year partnership. Her unique ability to document live performances and intimate behind-the-scenes moments has culminated in this collection, offering fans a rare look into life on tour with the band.
Noel Gallagher himself praised Latham’s work, saying, “Down the years I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the best photographers in the world and I would put Sharon right up there.”
The A New World Blazing exhibition is open now at The Gibson Garage London from October 9, 2024, to April 6, 2025. Visitors can experience the collection daily, with all artworks available for purchase, including rare co-signed editions.
