Liam Gallagher has fired back at critics who slammed his performance at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, September 21st. The former Oasis frontman played a set of classic tracks, including Rock ‘N’ Roll Star, Supersonic, and Cigarettes & Alcohol, ahead of the heavyweight boxing match between Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua.
Despite delivering some of the band’s most iconic hits, some viewers at home were unimpressed and voiced their opinions on X. In typical Liam fashion, he didn’t hold back, taking to the platform to address the backlash: “To all those Sh*tC*nts who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night, you ain’t real fans, you’re just IMPOSTERS. If you do have tickets you wanna get rid of, I’ll gladly take them off your hands. We don’t want the likes of you at our concerts next year anyway.”
Liam followed his post with a painting of a bird, captioned: “You will not stop me from singing my song. I will sing it forever.”
True to his style, Liam remains unapologetic and determined to continue doing what he loves, no matter what the critics say.
